Our business was founded in 1953 by Thomas Charles Brears who sadly passed away in the spring of 2005. Thomas was the founder member previously starting his career as a young man in farming.

Thomas carefully nurtured his young sons John and Adrian in the art of farming with his expert knowledge and wisdom of the industry. The emphasis has always been on three fundamentals that the company bases its business on today:

1) to be cost effective in order to deliver a top quality product at the right price.

2) to maintain that product ensuring it is second to none.

3) to provide a reliable structure with special emphasis given to the production of quality products across the range with excellent service.

This maintains the reliability that our customers have come to appreciate over the years.

The third generation of Brears’ is now heavily involved with the day to day running of the business. John's eldest son Jay and his youngest son Curtis are now taking some of the strain off the older men John and Adrian. This continuation of family values ensures the deliverance of our commitment to provide first class products and customer service well into the future.

We deliver between 8 and 9 thousand tonnes of product per annum making deliveries nationwide, 52 weeks a year.
